Simone and Brian were married on October 2nd at the Cloisters Castle in Maryland. It was a rainy day, but the venue was so gorgeous that in the end, the weather didn’t matter. Simone wore three different dresses – a white wedding gown, a traditional red Chinese wedding dress, and a black and white dancing dress, which she created from hand-made doilies knitted by her bridesmaids and mothers of the bride and groom. She also hand-knitted her veil. A couple days after the wedding, we met in Ocean City for a post-wedding shoot.

Rice and other grains used in the ceremony signify food necessary to sustain human life and the couple exchanges garlands to signify their mutual acceptance of their lifelong commitment to one another. The decor by Le Reve Creations was gorgeous and really set the mood for the day.
